Early Life / Education

Shapiro began his life in Los Angeles, California, within the framework of a traditional Jewish family. He was born to a Russian mother and a Lithuanian Jewish father. They brought him up. He started playing the violin at a young age and had his first performance in front of an audience at the Israel Bonds Banquet when he was twelve. Father was employed in the entertainment industry. His mother worked in the television industry, while his father, David Shapiro, was a composer.

After completing the eighth grade at Walter Reed High School in the Valley, Shapiro went to Yeshiva University High School in Los Angeles, located west of the city of Los Angeles. He graduated high school in 2000, at the tender age of sixteen.
