Early Life / Education

Shapiro began his life in Los Angeles, California, within the framework of a traditional Jewish family. He was born to a Russian mother and a Lithuanian Jewish father. They brought him up. He started playing the violin at a young age and had his first performance in front of an audience at the Israel Bonds Banquet when he was twelve. Father was employed in the entertainment industry.
